Author Topic:   Civ 1 speed Sparky Warlord Ohio b.02-15-99 posted April 21, 2001 16:20         Okay, I miss Civ 1. so many good memories. And I can't reinstall my old one because it came on those giant disks they still used in '92. I got Civ 1 (again) from an abandonware site. Here's the thing: it runs really slowly. Come on, I'm on an Athlon. Why is it running so poorly? Is it a conflict with Win2k? Yes, there's a reason I keep the dos one around...
