from the CGW preview: quote:
Originally printed in CGW "You relate to the stories, almost always recounted with the kind of guilty pride reserved for more carnal pleasures. There's the new to gaming editorial intern who booted up CIV at 2:00 one afternoonand, when everyone came into the office the next morning, was still at his computer. There's the lawyer who mailed Sid Meier a four page lawsuit seeking compensatory damages for all the time he spent playing CIV instead of working. There's the woman who spent an entire weekend - 48 hours straight - playing. And how about the college couple that agreed to alternate playing in one hour shifts, only to see the girlfriend lock her boyfriend out one night for hours so she could finish a game.

Ahhh, yes, I can relate. and from later on in the article: quote:

So are you saying that when you bought Civilization II, you had them put the game on the Underhills' tab? Dan Firaxis Games, Inc. |

i never said that Dan. I just said that it would enrage me because i only needed one more letter spot to make the whole name, and i never worked out.I have beaten this game countless times on Deity and I still play to today. So i don't see how i insinuated that it goes into the Underhill tab.------------------ Its okay to smile; you're in America now |
