Obviously, when the game gets released, that will be version 1. But posts from Dan (of Firaxis) would indicate that there are builds of the game in existence, so I was wondering if we could be told what the current build version is? That would give us a good idea as to how far along production is! Thanks. |

It doesn't have a version number right now. The game is being worked on so constantly that right now a version number would be pretty useless because it'd be incremented at least twice a day, usually more. You definitely get points for creative ways of asking "when" though =) Dan Firaxis Games, Inc. |

Ha ha ... if my experience is anything to go by, you probably have a multitude of version 0.xxxx's as each person completes the particular module they are working on .. The beauty of version 0.xxx is it says nothing of when the game will be completed From your web site, it sounds as if you are making steady progress .. please don't rush it .. take your time .. and as Ive said before, play a few games of CTP2, and see what happens when a deadline is more important than the game. ------------------ "Wherever wood floats, you will find the British" .
