It's a small thing, but I wish Civ3 would let you simulate games, sort of in the way that sports games let you simulate leagues. Why? For scenario designers. It's important to set up a scenario and then let it run and see how the AIs handle it: whether it's balanced, and so on. Unfortunately, to do that now you have to use the cheat menu to set human player to none, then click every turn and watch the entire game roll by. It's sort of like when you set the game with no human players. That is a disaster when you do. I would like to see a better system of this. |
