Topic: What Game will you be playing while waiting for Civ3? |  |

It seems like a long wait until Civ3 comes out, so what games will you be into until then?I know I will personally be involved in more internet based games.. one of those being the Star Wars Combine(free internet game  ) www.swcombine.com in preperation for Star Wars Galaxies (expensive internet game ) www.starwarsgalaxies.com Also I'll be playing Civ2. What about you guys?

Waiting for civ3, I will be playing SMAC/x, a new RPG called "Sea Dogs" (suppose to be just like Sid's Pirates!) and also a bit of ctp2! ------------------

Depends. I usually have these bouts of intensified gaming, alterning with Panzer General 2, Civ, Alpha Centauri, Nethack, Colonization, Ufo: Enemy Unknown, and whatnots. If I happen to get Tropico, Republik: The Revolution, or Europa Universalis, those will probably join the game cycle. |

I'll be playing CTP2 once a patch and or some mods come out. Possibly some Civ2 scenarios and I'll try Colonization. But once Europa Universalis comes out, I should be very content for the rest of the wait for Civ3 |

I'll be playing CTP2 and BG2, and then BG2, Pool Of Radiance 2 and NeverWinterNights, and I think even Halo and Warcraft 3 should be out before Civ3 comes out.And I don't really like Star Wars Galaxies cause I think there's only a very limited professions you can have. ------------------

I heard in Star Wars Galaxies that you will have plenty of professions to choose from. Bounty Hunting to running your own business.Warcraft 3 looks interesting also. |

CIVILIZATION's (any version!)
But mostly MGE, a few rounds of Dark-Reign here and there, certainly intergalactic struggles within Pax.
Definitely coming back again and again to CIV's scenarios.

The only strategy game to rival the CIV series is Championship Manager 3. I play as many point and click adventure games as I can get my hands on. |

Right now, I'm playing castlevania: symphony of the night for the playstation. After that, if I can get a hold of a copy, Civ 2 MGE  . If not, I have no idea. I'll probably just sit around board, replying to these forums and going to school. Or I'll start another game on Castlevania, ot Final Fantasy Tactics (one of the best RPG's around, if you're into RPG's, you should try it  ). |

I can't believe this, I am the first one to say that I am, and will be playing diablo 2 way after civ3 comes out!!!!!! Diablo 2 is the ultimate game to play, if you like RPG games, that is. Although you are probably wondering why i am even on these threads, if I like Diablo2, well, its cause I lost the play CD to Diablo2, so I am just pretty much looking for it right now, and looking at these threads cause I also love the civ collection! |

I'll be playing Arcanum when it comes out, and I'm looking forward to trying to build some mods for Deus Ex now that the SDK has been released.I'm also considering re-installing Fallout and playing it again since it's been awhile and Baldur's Gate II just overwhelmed me. Of course I'll also be playing a lot of Civ III *before* it comes out, but you didn't really want to know that, did you =)

I´d guess that Civ2 will remain on the top of my list.
Maybe some CTP2 will sneak in on it, but... I´t aint far as good as Civ2... |

Not that they can't change their mind, but it's been suggested in the FAQ that they'll be doing an open beta, but you kinda need a beta game first. Actually, going back and playing Fallout II again is a great idea. I absolutely loved Fallout I & II but I technically never finished the second one. I got right to the end but got sidetracked. (Holy crap. Now that I think about it.. I got sidetracked because I started playing SMAC!) Damn you Firaxis. |

I'm playing ctp2 at the moment... and Baldur's gate 2...Also, I'll buy Duke4 and Wizardry 8 as soon as they come out.. and their release dates are probably before civ3 comes out.. Oh, and I want Neverwinter Nights as well. |

Final Fantasy VII (starting fresh for the third or fourth time, with a crash-proof computer this time)
SimCity 2000 (3000 didn't impress me much)
