hi firaxis-team!i think civ2 is the best game ever. i enjoy it playing in single and even more in mutltiplayer mode for years *applause*. but a bad part of this wonderful game are the maps and the lack of realism they cause. neither the borders of the continents nor the terrain do fit in any way. i want you to offer to design maps for civ3. i have both knowlege about the game (i´m the current no.1 in gameleague) and knowledege about maps, surface- forms, vegetation, geology, geomorphology, climates, history...(i´m studying geography at vienna-university for nearly 4 years). if you are interested in professional map-design please let me know. i guess a lot of players would enjoy increased realism. please refer to my post or mail to: a9625741@univie.ac.at sincerly,

Um how do you design maps when Firaxis still don't have a scenario editor?!------------------
No, in Australia we don't live with kangaroos and koalas in our backyards... Despite any stupid advertisments you may see to the contrary... (And no, koalas don't usually speak!) |

That's a good question Ultra... With the fact that Civ3 is still in pre-alpha stages, I don't think they need testers or scenario makers anytime soon... |

I think what weird god is trying to say is that he wants to help the Firaxis team design maps for Civ3. In other words, he's asking them for a job. And with that kind of degree, and a passion for Civ, he should be very good at it.  Weird God, if you want to apply at Firaxis, click here.  ------------------
