Not much but, hey...
I wrote an email to Chris Pine, asking him if there would be customization in Civ3 and he responded with this"Hey Drew,
Yes, there will be customization. We continue to try to put every file in a
common format. In fact, we're trying to make the game more customizable
than in Civilization II or Alpha Centauri.

Sick! More customisable than SMAC?! That's awesome!(And I just wanted to congrats Firaxis as well - they seem to be a company that's really got the fans in mind - at least someone's figured out that it's the fans who buy the game, after all...) ------------------

Couldn't agree more.
When I wrote the mail I didnt expect a reply, but was presetnly suprised.
More Customization is good for my site to, which is going to be an online reference on how to modify the game!
Looks like I'll have my work cut-out doing that well!------------------
