Ok a few days ago I was playin' the WWI scenario as the Central Powers. I saved, quit and came back to it today. But the scenario's units were gone and replaced by the units used in a normal game. So I had warriors (Normally "A Infantry) AND stealth fighters (Normally "advanced fighter")guarding my cities! The other units were different as well and I couldn't build any of the real units from the scenario. I was just wondering if this ever happened to anyone else before. If so, THIS MUST BE FIXED IN CIV 3!! ------------------ ~~~I am who I am, who I am - but who am I?~~~ "Oh, they have the Internet on computers now!" |

That's weird! The one explanation I can think of, is: did you save the game in the correct folder?------------------ Ceterum censeo Romanem esse delendam. |

No, actually I have a seperate folder for all WWI scenarios (and WWII because I play them the most out of any scneario) But I never experienced this before. I'll copy and paste into the original folder and see if anything changes...------------------ ~~~I am who I am, who I am - but who am I?~~~ "Oh, they have the Internet on computers now!" |

I've had something similar happen with SMAC. When I play with custom factions, sometimes the faction symbols and units become mixed up. I'm betting it's a flaw in the scenario or the game's integration of the scenario, not the game itself. But you're right, this cannot be allowed into Civ3. |

well I tried rerunning the scenario from the WWI folder (not the one i made) and it still didn't work. Maybe it's because I originally saved it in the wrong folder, but I don't know. At least someone's been in the same situation I have and knows what I'm talking about. ------------------ ~~~I am who I am, who I am - but who am I?~~~ "Oh, they have the Internet on computers now!" |

Yeah, that happened to me too. You should be able to move your savefile into the correct folder and load that, though. |

Wow, strange bug, but I hope no code is recycled in Civ3 so it won't happen again...------------------ No, in Australia we don't live with kangaroos and koalas in our backyards... |

Does anyone else where you are play civ2?The only thing I can think of is that you or someone else switched the units.gif and rules.txt back to the normal ones. |

Orange, was Fantastic Worlds used in making the scenario? I know once I was making a 21st century scenario, and when I was just about finished, I went to playtest it, and all of the units were reverted back to the normal Civ2 units. If this WWI scenario was created using FW, it was probably just another of the many bugs in FW. I hope the scenario editor in Civ3 is MUCH better than that. |

Well I have MPG, and the WWI scenario comes with it so I don't know how it was made. I assume FW was used to make it.------------------ ~~~I am who I am, who I am - but who am I?~~~ "Oh, they have the Internet on computers now!" |
