Korn469, good luck with your computer. Dividing the threads sounds fine to me. With re to duplicate suggestions, I already took one and posted it as seconding the earlier suggestion. If there is truly no difference than the originater of the second idea shouldn't mind because he's getting his vote counted AND he gets the opportunity to think of a new idea. But of course they can have their choice not to second that idea... Let me know what thread you want to take when you're up and running. - raingoon |

If a huge amount of people bring up ideas there's a simple enough fix...put all the ideas under one thread and let people vote from there. Of course we won't do that until we have to, since having lots of threads makes the forums look a lot busier. But that'll be our secret...  As to the lack of discussion, the way the rules have been set forth don't ask for discussion, just an idea and/or a "second". If you want discussion you'll have to alter that. Raingoon-

Um... yeah. That would be the very same evil Yin/Ming hybrid that's been sending me messages via microwave relay. But I can't say any more about that -- the Ying sees all!Right. Where was I? Oh, yes. Theben, the Guidelines thread specifically calls for a discussion but people seem to have taken to the idea that this is about boiling down to the essence. And I can see why -- what hasn't already been said? Presumably what needs to be discussed will get discussed. I'll put up a reminder just the same...

Korn469 -- I'll take Fixes just because it's slightly lighter and I'm getting swamped. But the truth is neither is THAT hard, so New Ideas shouldn't be much of a problem for you.
