Although many of my favourite games are RTS, I wouldn't like to see Civ 3 as one. The TBS the Civ series has adopted works fine.

Hope this discussion is now at its end- it seems to be that no one (except a very small minority) wants Civ3 to be an RTS, and that is a simple fact. The End.
