I don't think even civ III could make me buy a second-rate OS like Windows(the price of Linux fits me much better ). Give me civ III for Linux!

Signed, and Can't play Civ CTP on Windows so Civ III shouldn't be playable on my 5-year old windows Machine.

Count me in: I purchased CTP for Linux (first game I've actually bought in years), and will certainly buy Civ3 if it comes out for Linux. The Linux market is expanding rapidly, and many of its users are avid gameplayers, esp. of games like Civ.... it's a good place for Firaxis to be.

Count me in for Linux. If I can play good games on Linux, I'll never have any reason to boot Windows.

I definitely think they'll be alot of support for this; and who says you can't get a company (LOKI) to do this for you.

A Linux port is cool.

Perhaps it would be even better if this is available for all the free/Open Source *nix OSes...

It shouldn't be too hard to build the source code so they can be compiled for various flavors of *nix.
