I don't think even civ III could make me buy a second-rate OS like Windows(the price of Linux fits me much better ). Give me civ III for Linux! |

Signed, and Can't play Civ CTP on Windows so Civ III shouldn't be playable on my 5-year old windows Machine. Also I agree with Max about the Penguin unit. Put one in for ms windows in the ancient age. |

I've bought the linux version of CivCTP, and I'll buy the CivIII one. I have only linux, so I will not buy any other version. |

Count me in: I purchased CTP for Linux (first game I've actually bought in years), and will certainly buy Civ3 if it comes out for Linux. The Linux market is expanding rapidly, and many of its users are avid gameplayers, esp. of games like Civ.... it's a good place for Firaxis to be. |

A Linux port is cool.Perhaps it would be even better if this is available for all the free/Open Source *nix OSes... It shouldn't be too hard to build the source code so they can be compiled for various flavors of *nix. |
