Ah, a second screen, huh? Well, it's sort of a toss up between the unit workshop and the tech tree shots. Hmmmm. The grey-on-grey doesn't make for the prettiest shot in the world, but I think it's probably worth showing our Unit Workshop as a second graphic. http://www.rjcyberware.com/md/screens/UnitWorkshop.jpg Looks good so far. I think this table will make a very nice addition to the Alt-Civ page Ron |

For a second Image I think I'll just go with our logo for now. The small version is at: http://clash.apolyton.net/images/logo_128.gif , and the big version is here: http://clash.apolyton.net/images/L-logo.jpg .Thanks for all the great work! -Mark |

Added Persistent to modes of play... not sure too many people will know what that is though... mind putting that in a sentence or two... I'll quote ya.

You put a server on the net and it will advance one turn per day. You can then hook up at any time (once a day) and do your moves. For screenshots; pick one in the freeciv screenshot section or make your own as you see fitting.

Thue, really? Is that done? are there permanent freeciv servers with running games? Why only one turn per day? why not more?some friends of mine play http://www.planetarion.com alot. I refused to play that because it is too simplistic for a hardcore civer, like me But freeciv with, say, 3 - 10 turns as day (which go on if you log in or not) would be something I would like to try out. Rationale is that with turn a day system it would be a year to play a game, no? (I havent played any cive game in PBEM so I am not sure how they do it). By the way all, you are all invited to GGS meeting with which we celebrate our first year. If everything goes ok (ie no firaxis sabotage) we are going to hold it as always, thursday, 19:30 GMT. For the pictures, eh we dont have in-game shots yet |

Well, you would have to run your server on your own computer; we can't have zillions of concurrent servers running on civserver.freeciv.org .And you can set the turn lenght to what you want. One turn per day was just because it was easy to explain. |
