Well, although I probably won't get a response, I'll try my problem anyway.I built an underwater city in the genetic age, but it doesn't look like an underwater city-it looks like a genetic age land city. I checked the agecitystyle.txt file and everything seems to be in order. This is the first major bug I've encountered in the game and from what I've been reading on the forums it's a bug unique to me, but any help would be appreciated. |

Octavius,Somewhere on this board I saw a thread related to that very question! However... I cannot remember where. On the bright side, I think there was a solution. Or, at the very least an explanation as to why this happens. (I've been playing the game for about a month now and got used to it so that I don't even notice it anymore). Anyway, if I find the thread, I'll send another post right here. -- Skeeve

sounds good! I remember seeing a thread about someone not being able to have the underwater sprite in the earlier ages, but had no problem in the genetic or diamond ages. Well, I think I might just have to get used to floating cities too...although the bug stopped me from creating an underwater empire beyond 1 city (sucks, don't it?). And thank you for your help! |

Hey Octavius... Here's the thread! ../../Forum35/HTML/000988.html However.. I think you found it already because yours is the last post! Sorry... wish I could've been of more help here. Anyway, it looks like there's a whole can of worms associated with this bug. -- Skeeve ------------------ My reach exceeds my grasp! |

Anyway, this thing can also happen if you installed a mod (such as the medival mod) and you try to use it with a saved game. This mod just replaces some of the image files. Check this out... |

I haven't installed any mods and I think a link or something is missing from your post cuz there's nothing there to check out. |
