Since I play for good or bad the same basic settings every game, it has given me the opportunity to spot something in the game. I have to post the question to the masses. Sometimes when I am playing online I notice my Civ slows down in production, science and city growth happiness is way off etc., generally I have played all map locations so I am used to ajusting for them. It just bogs down in all areas, now when these host's of the game leave or crash out which is often in these cases, within a turn growth is back to normal, production. happiness shoots back up and everything goes as i am used to seeing it go.? Is this some kinda of case sensitive or random glitch? Can it be attributed to a bad connection what is it.?Last night in a game this happened again and before the host left the game resynced about three times in a row, this pattern I have noticed to repeat itself too. Also with the resyncing troops can change position or disappear all together, you can miss turns, advance research can reset back to zero or change alltogether these are just some of the gliches, annoying to say the least. Now the host was way ahead when he left but within three turns and all my production and growth etc. returned to normal I was kicking butt and wiped the civ out very easy in all areas, science,production,war etc. resyncing was normal again. This has become annoying any ideas? anyone else experience this oddity? It has never happened playing just me and the computer only online. Once again any Ideas????? |
