This probably seems like a stupid question. Many might just say to go read the readme's and manual and stuff, which I did for the most part...anyway the question:

When u select a unit to bombard (Such as a battleship or war walker to bombard a city), which of its attack ratings is it using?
Is it using its Assault rating or its Ranged Strength rating.

Bombardment is a really neat feature...sure coulda used it in civ1 and 2!

I don't know if it's in the manual, but units bombard with their ranged strength rating.
