It's nice to see that CTP still has a strong following... even with the release of CTP-2.

I took a break from the whole computer scene for a few months, but i can't wait to get back into the mix.

I've been reading about Wes's new mod, and it sounds almost like a completely new game
I hope i'm still good enough to beat the AI

I remember a post from long ago about someone starting a "Civ Night"
(like a Poker Night)
where a multiplayer net game is played for a few hours every week.
Does anyone have any info on this? If not, would anyone be interested in starting it up again?

Also,
I'm a little rusty with my CTP knowledge...
Has there been any major updates lately? (patches, hacks, etc.)
I don't see any, but you never know.

I'm also curious to know if CTP 2 has any game-play connection to the original?
(is it a completely new game, or an add-on type of game?)
