Hi!

I played a game just to see the desasters pollution causes.
Two cities were destroyed by flooding, but even the cities surrounded by dead tiles celebrated. I expected them to revolt.

Pollution unhappiness is computed based on your emission levels, not on the amount of pollution that's been emitted in the past. Dead tiles don't seem to matter, as far as I can tell.

The emission levels of other civilizations may matter -- I don't know for sure.

Of course, if you've got the Sensorium then you pollution unhappiness is 0.
