Well people it is now 12:10am over here and I have to wake up at 7am. I am off to start a big game of CTP after I finish this post. I know, I am crazy but I don't care I am doing it anyway. I guess I just have to deal with not getting much sleep or not sleeping at all. It all depends on how good the particular game turns out and if it is interesting. |

Prince Bimz: Tell us about your game-night and how was your workday? Do you live in a Theocracy? How long is your workday? :-) Did you slept at all? |

Talk about starting a big game of CTP, I have never managed to do that.. If I play at Deity level then somehow I always start at the end of a peninsula (or near the polar cap) with only one direction to expand. And then the moment I send some settler in that direction to build new cities, some AI factions, with twice as many cities as I have, would always send some units prowling around to expel my settler(s), costing me scores of moves to get any crummy cities build at all. I usually end up so frustrated I quit the game. I think the settler expulsion rule sucks if my settlers are closer to my own cities than the AI cities. And if I play at Emperor level then it is so easy it never becomes a big game even if I manage to be patient enough to play to the end to get all the advances. |
