I have built some city, spreading out on a big island. Life was peaceful when in the very early stage of the game. But after the 1400's, several AI's keep sending their ships and troops trying to capture my city. Most part of the map is darked out, and I don't know where my enemy is, anyone can give me some hints on this? |

Have one of your cities on the coast build a boat, then go exploring that dark area of the map! Have fun |

Another alternative is to turn on the Show Enemy Movement in the option menu. You'll at least see which direction the enemy are coming from before the dark area, then get your ship to explore in that direction.

...Or you could cheat and hit the "show map" button...------------------ "There can be no maximum of creation without a concomitant maximum of destruction, no supreme good without supreme evil"--Heller, paraphrasing Nietzsche. "The more passion for the argument, the less evidence for it"--Russel. "I *may* have solved some of the problem with specialists tonight. Then again, I may have screwed things up- I don't know. If that happens, I won't know whether to laugh, cry, or both. God, I'm starting to sound like Nordicus (the horror!). ;)"--Wes Whitaker, during AAIPs testing.
