I can't even start the new medmod without error messages. if i proceed further the game carshes. The first time, it siad there was an error in units.txt line 303 2nd time it was a missing sprite 3rd time it couldn't find any gvts I'd like to know if anyone else is havin similar problems |

Chris, I had the same problems and errors even before entering the game screen. I deleted the entire med mod folder and reinstalled the picture.zip, the two sprite.zips and only the very latest text.zip and since its working fine. I do not have to mention that you can only play the domestic alfa (second scenario in the med folder). Hope I could help. Thomas |

btw, everyone should understand that the med mod is currently in alpha versionif you're not prepared to face problems dont download it  |

Mark its sposed to load properly. 30 secs of testing could have figured that out. Wahts the use if i cant even start it w/o civ crashin. I havnt tried te suggestions yet but I will. |

testing these things is not as easy as you may thing. these problems come out after a long time of playing. beyond that, if it worked perfectly, it wouldnt be called "alpha", it would be could "final"..... |

On a side note, when do you, the makers of the MedMod, think it'll come out of the alpha state? |

I can deal easily with problems on arrival. But as the scenario starts loading, it crashes. |

Have you altered any of your default .txt files yourself, before loading the MedMod.? |

Chris, the errors you describe are the type you get when you try and use the upper, "units" version of the mod, which does not work. Try deleting the scen0001 folder and re-installing the latest text portion of the mod. No one else is reporting any problems, as far as I know. |

I'll try re-downloading the texts. Maybe i did change something. |
