How would I exceed the number of cities that the computer automatically recognizes?

Currently the computer will name (By default..the # is 30 Cities..then they start over with say if you are Americans..it would be Washington DC 01)

I looked in Civilization.txt..they have 30 cities listed..but no names per say listed beside..

Onlt this..

CIV_CITY_NAME AMERICAN_CITY_25
CIV_CITY_NAME AMERICAN_CITY_26
CIV_CITY_NAME AMERICAN_CITY_27
CIV_CITY_NAME AMERICAN_CITY_28
CIV_CITY_NAME AMERICAN_CITY_29
CIV_CITY_NAME AMERICAN_CITY_30

Now of course I started at city #25-#30..but like I was looking of a way to edit it..to make..(I have Corporate Republic with a 200 city TooManyCityThreshold change..with my big old Map I made...)..the computer automatically name up to 200 cities..without having to change..or renameing cities every time I build over the original 30...

Any/All help would be appreciated..

The file you've openned is the general format for your civ... if you look in the english folder and then civ_str.txt you'll find that the civilisation.txt corresponds to that file. If you add Cities places in the civilisation.txt file you then need to add the city name in the civ_str.txt. An example....

In civ_str.txt

CANADA_CITY_35 "Fort Erie"
CANADA_CITY_36 "Sarnia"
CANADA_CITY_37 "Hull"
CANADA_CITY_38 "Brantford"
CANADA_CITY_39 "Saskatoon"
CANADA_CITY_40 "Churchill"

In Civilisation.txt

CIV_CITY_NAME CANADA_CITY_35
CIV_CITY_NAME CANADA_CITY_36
CIV_CITY_NAME CANADA_CITY_37
CIV_CITY_NAME CANADA_CITY_38
CIV_CITY_NAME CANADA_CITY_39
CIV_CITY_NAME CANADA_CITY_40

It's really that simple... you can add to your hearts content this way Automatic naming I don't believe is possible, you have to imput the names and if you want 200... better find 200 city names. And that could be exhausting.
