i recently downloaded the 28 civ scenario from the database excellent map however i find the number of players slows the game to a crawl i would like to reduce the number to between 8-16 but i find that using the editor the computer still puts in the unused civs even when you remove the settlers also how can you make the players name different as you cannot edit it at the start of the scenario or from within the editor.
i am hoping to build a scenario using this map based on ww2 and i think that 8-9 players will suffice and hopefully speed the game up.

In userprofile.txt set no. of players to ...whatever that should work.
