I think it would be great fun to have a scenario (on a larger, partial-earth map) where the various colonial powers such as Spain, England, France, the Dutch, the Portuguese, etc, competed to see who could carve out the largest New World empire. Perhaps the decider of victory would be who could bring the most gold back via trade routes, conquering, production, etc. Plenty of pirate action, oceangoing warfare, intrigue, and so on. If I knew how to go about making scenarios I might try to work on it myself.

Or you could just play Colonization...

j/k Sounds like a good idea, but so far there aren't too many people making scenario's yet, so you'll either have to be patient or try to figure out how to do it yourself
