Heya!

I remember when Civ I came out for the Mac, the graphics look LOTS better than the PC version. Since I haven't seen SMAX on the Mac yet I am wondering if there are any differences between the versions?

Also, are there any performance issues? If so, what kind of Mac do you have? (I would really like to get back into the mac scene - they are so much cooler than pc's!)

The graphics on the Mac version are exactly the same. AFAIK, there are no performance issues as long as you meet the hardware requirements.

I echo ashman's comment. SMAC runs great on my Macs. Looks wise, it looks the same to me as on PC.

somehow I think it runs faster on Windows...at least the unit movement and battle resolution in the SMAX demo on a P3-500 compared to a G4-400
