I just finished my first solo game of SMAX. The game was great, but just after the monument screen that shows the icon for the victory, the game crashes with a type 2 error. The score was not posted to the hall of fame. Anyone else have this type of problem. I loved the game, but I hate not being able to claim "bragging rights." I am running on an iMac with 100 Megs of real RAM allocated to the application. I was playing the Believers and won through conquest. |

I'm not sure if this will help you, but it's certainly worth a try.You need to edit your SMACX credits.txt file and delete all of the names under PC Beta-testers. There's a problem with a buffer overflowing and removing the names out of the file keeps it from happening. |
