You know, Brad Oliver did a HUGE amount of work to make the Mac PBEM files compatible with Windows -- lots of nasty-endian byte swapping. It seems like a shame to waste his effort and segregate ourselves.I propose that any Mac SMAC'er who is really GOOD at the game should head out to the other side of Apolyton and show the M$ guys what we can do.

I wouldn't want us to have two identical games running at the same time, but I'm interested in getting in on another game, if you haven't started this one yet. I'll be whatever faction hasn't been picked, no preferences here. |

Hey iMac.. the way a play-by-email game works is someone starts the game off, and then when they're done with their turn they email it to whoever's turn is next. When you get the turn mailed to you, you'll have to unstuffit and then load it from Multiplayer-Load Game. I just learned that yesterday, though, so I'm no expert! Stumpy |
