i am trying to transfer a saved game from my pc at work to my home pc
I mananged to save it to a floppy but i can't seem to load to my home p.c.
any help wou;d be greatly appreciated

i have done this before. I transfered file from one home pc to another. Make sure you are loading in the right directory. not the multiplay one. Also make sure you have the patch(or dont have the patch) installed on both. Just make sure they are the same. Even with this, i often got error messages "cant locate city ## or something like that. if you dont mind missing the messages they seemed to work fine for me.

A tough lesson we learnt from the succession game is that what me-irate mentioned about the patch. Either have it on both or don't have it at all.

Also, any modifications you have made to any of the txt files can affect whether it's compatible.

No-patch to patch works...but not the other way around.
