Ijust bought Call to power 2 and installed it I keep getting the dreaded illeagal operation and will be shut down message. I contacted activision and they tell me I need to go into my system and change this and delete that I have many games on my PC and have never had any problems like this can anybody tell me why this game is being so diffacult? I have win98 pentium2 366

First make sure you have directx7 and video card drivers that support it. Did the install worked out o.k? Ill asume it did. Try uninstalling CTP2, and deleting all the remains after the uninstall, and than installing again. Try to update all your windows items from windows update. Hope it helps... |

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling I down loaded direct8 to see if that would help but to no avail I really want to play this game if anybody out there can help. I do know that I have a beta driver is that a problem and can I fix it? thanks |
