When I try to start CTP2, I get the error "The MSVCP60.dll file is linked to missing export MSVC90.dll:__lc_collate_cp." I am currently running DirectX 8 and the game won't let me reinstall directX 7. How do I solve this? Please help. Thanks.

West Milford! Hey, we're practically neighbors. I'm in Washington Township (Bergen County)! Anyway, in answer to your question...As far as I know, the game was compatible with DirectX 8, so don't bother reinstalling directX 7. In anycase, before re-installing CTP2 delete everything related to CTP2 first. Then install the game from scratch. If this still doesn't work there's got to be someone here on these forums to help you... don't give up. ------------------

CTP2 is completly compatible with Directx 8. But maybe if you installed it afterwords... hmmm...
If this problem continue to occur check if you have directx 8 or directx 8a. If you have directx8 than download the new version. If you install a new version of directx than the setup will update all the files (it wont if you will try to reinstall the same version of directx). |
