well.. i installed the patch yesterday. I am regretting it -- i didnt really need it and now it seems it made the game worse. Let me explain. After installing the patch alot of the start of turn messages that pop up are wrong. For example: i am frequently getting this message: "this needs to be hooked up to the great library" (I dont know what is triggering it). When I attempt to steal tech from a a foreign city and fail the message "nicaurgua" pops up instead of "you spy was caught etc.."
also i have also noticed more messages: such as "there is a city that has nothing in its queue" (even though all cities are building something....
its weird. anyone else having this problem?

ps

are you loading a saved game? after you install the patch, you should start a new game to avoid weird messages and things.
