Author Topic:   Weird little bug / Diplomacy screen Camper Chieftain Seattle, Washington, USA b.02-15-99 posted November 17, 2000 17:11         This certainly isn't a big deal, but I have the Native Americans in my game, but on the diplomacy screen they are refered to as the "North Americans". Talk about your "America-centric" game... Can anyone else that has the Native Americans in their game confirm that I'm not nuts? Thanks. There's the singular, "Native American", the plural, "Native Americans", and the country name, "North America". It's kind of hard to say what the country name for the Native Americans should be, "Native America" seems kind of awkward too. You can easily change it to your liking if it really bothers you though. Open up installdir/ctp2_data/english/gamedata/civ_str.txt and change NATIVE_AMERICAN_COUNTRY_NAME to "Native America" or whatever else you want.
