With succes on CTP ladders, we'll now try to switch it to CTP2 system, as first CTP2 games come, and I think CTP players will switch to CTP2 in a matter of weeks. Players having ratings already will retain them.------------------

What does no mean? Do you want to say you can't play multiplayer games in CTP2?? Well, I'll now seek for info on that and edit the post as I find it.
So, CTP2 really has no PBEM - that really upsets me. The other new things and units yet seem to be worth the money they ask for the game, but I guess I will still play old good PBEM through CTP1.------------------

Bringing the topic back to the light, now Ladders work in CtP I and SMAC, and that the PBEM has been discovered within CtP II, one the guys come to play, we will be able to use the ladders system here.------------------

Hi Solver,Good work, again. But I recommend that you make SURE that you have tested this CTP2 PBEM model pretty thoroughly (at least 20 turns played via PBEM against yourself). If NO bugs surface, then I will support you in your recommendation to switch to CTP2 over time. (It appears that it again falls on the players to do Activision's Beta testing for them!) Quinns |
