I was wondering if, the city square the one the city is located on is being worked on by the citizens? If so I would only build my cities on grassland, because they can't be terraformed if a city was located on top of it. So is that square being worked on? And say if you build a city on a mountainous square would it yield the same food production as a grassland? This would be interesting as I don't build cities perfectly, I just build them wherever my settler is. Thanks for the feedback.

Yes, I believe that the city square is one of the tiles worked. However, don't bother going out of your way to locate the 'perfect' city spot. It really doesn't matter in the scheme of things. By the time your city is >18 pop, it starts using a huge amount of tiles, and one low-production tile is really insignificant. ------------------ My reach exceeds my grasp! | |
