Hi folks,
After playing a long game (eg, start @ 3000BC and then get to 1040ad), I get hard system crashes. eg, I get a an app crash, a debug file generated, and I need to hard boot my system.

I am on a 850MHZ pentium III, running win 2000 pro with 256MB RAM.

Oh...and I use the cheat to set up the players (but don't save it as a scenario, just a game).

I always play the largest map with 6 - 8 civs...is my machine not up to this game?

I have a similar system to yours and get the same sort of problems on Win2K pro. I rebuilt the PC to Win98 and got no problems. Something in Win2K causes it. That's all I can say. Hope this helps.
