Hello,I usually play the game at a moderate difficulty level and in a peaceful manner. I was curious as to how many cities do you generally find to be acceptable. I know the more the better, but how many as a base are sufficient. Thanks, Adam ------------------ I use to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure |

10 to 15 is tonnes for me to rule the world with an iron fist with the default map sizes... but after changing them... I need 20-30 depending on the map. |

Hello OmniGod... "Ruling with an ironfist",Would you be interested in playing in a PBEM game back in the regular CTP1? I'm sure there are plenty of players, that play Multiplayer PBEM, that would love to take out their frustrations about CTP2 Multiplayer on you! edit: [Wait a minute, you ARE a representative of Activision... aren't you?? If not, NEVERMIND!] I know that all the trouble with the multiplayer aspect, that I read about, is not your fault (I don't think). It would just be fun to have a representative from Activision play in PBEM! No offense. P.S. There is NO WAY you could rule with an "iron fist" with 10 or 15 cities in human PBEM. I think that you always have to go for as many cities as you can. More cities means more production and more commerce. With that come more advances that help you cope with the complications of a bigger empire. That is key to being above the rest. |

As said many times before you can have hotseat and PBEM games in CTP2 by: There's a secret hidden in english/uidata/layouts/spnewgame.ldl. If you search for two buttons whose ypix value are -490, and take the - sign off, two much requested features will become visible on the main screen. here is a PBEM game (emailed ) to prove it 4 civs me you 2 AI medium map. If you would care to play a relative amateur Only started CTP2 in start of december first ctp game.I usually build 10 - 15 and capture another 10 or so and by then i basically know i've won. ------------------ " mind over body " |
