Some things about diplomats. 1. You can establish a embassy more than once in a empire. (I think it should cost money to establish an embassy) And only once per Empire. 2. The hold event thing. How should it work? When I do it I can do it more than once each turn. Shouldn't it cost money it don't seem to. /Mathias |

1) You're right, you should only be able to do it once, I'm sure they just didn't think anyone would try (there's no benefit and since it's free there's no real downside either).2) It's supposed to cost 500 gold. -Zane

The hold event cost 500.. The reson i was confused was that first time it worked and played the little tune then i did it again and it played the tune, but i didn't realise that there was a red can't be done marker aswell.. My misstake.. But ,Yes it costs 500 but after you done it ones you can't do it in a couple of turns. The embassy is still an error though.. Not exactly sure about this, but holding events seems to be less efficient than giving away money. |

Hi, i think that holding party thing really helps when you want them to join a alliance with you. when you got them happy and trusting you, you still can't get the to sign on the dotted line.------------------

My mod fixes the "reception worse than money" problem. Now, you get a decent regard boost from one. Oh, and the AI will sign on the dotted line in mine too, but only if it considers it needs it. ------------------ Rommell to a sub-commander outside Tobruk: "Those Australians are in there somewhere. But where? Let's advance and wait till they shoot, then shoot back." |
