A few years ago after I had caught the civ virus I saw an old episode of the Twilight Zone. A few astronautes (spelling?) had to land on a planet to make repairs on their rocketship. One of the men had discovered that the inhabitants were like 1/2 an inch tall. They had cities, vehicles, wars, the whole nine yards - just like Sid Meier's creation. That astronaute enslaved these tiny people and would not return with his fellow astronautes back to earth. He would rather spend his life bossing around his citizens than return to see his family. Do you ever feel like this astronaute? Made me reexamine all the time I spend with this game. Did any of you out there see this episode? Oh well, I got to tend to my borders: those lousy Mexicans keep violating my no trespassing agreement! PS. I think the natives eventually killed the lone astronaute.
