Yeah right.It loaded up asked me what language... english then error message came up saying "The language of your OS will not allow you to use this patch"
Yeah
I tried it on my fast laptop I'll have to try it on my slow(P166)PC and hope.
They could have atleast made a patch without bugs.

Maybe this patch is only suitable for the US version of the game?

As in the other thread there should be a work around (not tested!!!):
Open Control Panel and search for an Earth-like icon (I dont know its name something like Country Code or Language or something similar). Double click on it and set your language/country code to English(US). restart. Apply patch and set language back to what you had before. restart and enjoy game.

This should work! Please report back if it has.

Weee! it worked
Try this (many have said it already):
Open, Control Panel - and the icon that looks like a earth globe, might be called National preferences or such. Change the language selection to English (US/American). Restart, install the patch and PLAY!
it should work, it worked on my Swedish version of Win98
