500 turns is up year 1700ad in CTP2. The game is actually 600 turns. Dont know why every review and preview has said CTP2 was 500 turns.

The game is sooooo long, makes me want to kill myself from boredom in 800BC-1200AD

actually, from a preview it has been known for a while before the release that the numbers of turns are between 800-1100 depending on the difficulty level

I love the extended playing time! If you enjoy playing the game, then the longer the better.

CTP3 will probably last even longer than a US Presidential election...

Oh well In what I had heard there was only 500. I LOVE THE LONGER GAME!!!!!! Can anybody tell me how many turns you get for each difficulty level?
