Is there any differents between the USA and the UK versions. If so why? and will downloads still be compatible. Why can't there be one standard english language version (i hope that is the case) How come the UK release date is 24 NOV. The last CTP game come out in the UK a day before it was released in the USA? |

The reason given was that they had to allow for different keyboard standards. A small thing, but there you have it.------------------ - MKL "And a sun that doesn't set but settles" - Augie March Shameless Plug: http://www.poetic-license.org ............. All welcome. |

The keyboard layouts are slighlty different. The one I can think of off-hand is the " and the @ symbols are switched in US & UK keyboards. However, I would've thought that the Operating system woud've taken care of that.I'm almost 100% sure the same mods will work for both UK&US version. |

This is an important question. If anyone at Activision is looking at this thread and can shed some light on the matter of the GB release date, we'd all be grateful. |

I've just posted a new topic on this to try and get Activision's attention.Let's see if we can get a straight, simple answer from them. 24 Nov or 8 Dec? I admit that I'll be a bit annoyed if it turns out to be 8 Dec as we've been told 24 Nov by a number of sources. I think they are faffing us and the continental Europeans around, a bit, if I'm honest. We'll have to wait and see if Activision replies to my new thread on this matter. Fingers crossed . . . |

Its released later in the UK because they have to TRANSLATE it, duh!Oh, wait..... ------------------ ...And if the British Commonwealth and its people live for a thousand years, man will still say "this was their finest hour"- Winston Churchill. |

LOL!Exactly, there's no excuse. All they have to do is alter some minor keyboard details. |
