Someone Pleaaaaseeeeee tell me that there is a Earth world map some place on my new CTP2 CD? If not why on Earth would Activision leave out such an obivous thing that like 90% of the Civer Public would appreciate?

Go to the scenarios, it's on there...

But it's pretty cruddy, if you ask me...

What the hell are those little islands *WAY* above Alaska? And since when was the Arctic Ocean bigger than the Pacific, Atlantic and Indian Oceans put together??

Maybe someone will draw up a better world map before too long, or modify a map from Civ2 or something, for use on CTP2.

Lets hope so, because I for one completely agree that a good world map is essential to any Civ-type game.

I think I gonna release my 28 civ worldmap for cpt2 today

. It is quite large (normal huge is 70:140 - this map is 150:300) and a strong computer is recommended.

The continents are optimized. So you can place on GB at least 10 ctp1 citys. Dont know how much with the increasing city radius. And south amerika isnt totaly swamp and mountains.. . Just to have fair start position for all civs.

More is coming later. I hope you give me feedback what i can improve and how the performance turns out on your computer.

THX so far. Have to go to bed... Worked all night long on this map g. Have to sleep some hours.
