I've noticed that the vast majority of multiplayer posts for CtP are about PBEM, as is the case with SMAC and TOT. I know that internet play is just too slow with SMAC and TOT, and I assume that's why pbem is more popular. Is this also the case with CtP? and if so, will the problem be fixed in CtP II?

Internet play in CTP was manageable if a little frustrating.

I for One hope that its smoother in CTPII.
