As subject asks, Activision is it possible that as with CTP1 we can edit a text file to play with more than 8 civs? |

did they leave the text entry ability in at least? i always used 16 civs (32 was a bit excessive - for me personally anyway) [This message has been edited by Nemo (edited November 02, 2000).] |

I, for one, will not buy the game if it does not have either (1) the ability to edit the number of civs, or (2) the ability to customize *easily* the names of my own civ and those of my opponents. (Well, I might buy it a few years from now when it drops down to around $20.) I play civ games to give wings to my imagination. It's my only vice, and it must be worth the time I spend in it. (Okay, reading and posting to this forum might be a vice. I should be studying for my entrance exams. I just can't resist commiserating with so many people who share my vice...er...interests.) |

Thanks to Paraya we've now had this answered, that it will be available in a text file but as before with no official support. |
