These screenshots look great- I really liked the intro in CTP1 (but the one in Civ2 sucked- it held almost no relevence to anything).

Looking at the fact that there are four ages shown (ancient, medieval, modern and futuristic) are these all the ages in the game? (In CTP1 I couldn't see the point in the 2 seperate 'genetic' and 'diamond' ages as I couldn't see much of a difference between the two.)

I hope the wonder movies are good in CTP2 (like in CTP1)- BUT NOT THE SAME ONES! I noticed from some screenshots that some of the wonders are the same in CTP2 but I hope they make some nice new movies for us).

Why does the sky get darker as time progresses? In the ancient time it's high noon, it's mid afternoon in medieval times, the sun is setting on the present day, and the future metropolis is almost always situated in the dark of night.

Are they trying to imply something?

Note, the movie from the first version followed a similar pattern, as do many others. Is it that the designers can't come up with a decent looking future city and settle with a bunch of shadows and lights instead?

Not sky, water. The later scenes are all aquatic cities, so it makes sense that it's darker, cause it's under the ocean.
