Congratulations smilo on such a GREAT NEW HALL OF FAME GAME!!!!!!!!I can see your point too... because it DOES GET BORING! Which makes your score even that much more impressive! And I did get your email... I just can't respond right now on my Apoltyon account... I can receive mail, but not send out bound. So this is in response to your note |

I don't know whether to say: "Congrats!Way to go" or "Why?Are you nuts?"Either way it shows stubbornness and dedication to the task at hand. You could almost include this on your resume. "Here is an example of my dedication, attention to detail and willingness to complete the most tedious of tasks" |

Congrats, smilio! This is just the kind of thing that can be accomplished with hard work, dedication, and way way too much free time! |

Originally posted by smilo on 07-27-2000 05:02 PM To go for scores really high, let's say above 15000, you should not have farmland everywhere. Production is what counts, as you need to be able to build a freight in every city every turn.

As I posted above, I donīt like the idea of food caravans for such purposes too much (is there a thread with a discussion about food caravans?). So I donīt think I will achieve a much higher score than I recently did (1573%). Btw, I sent my game to Rasputin00 last night (Jul 27th, 21:00 Greenwich time). When can I expect it to be shown in the Hall of Fame?

Ming:Once I was playing a game waiting for the final AI civilization to attack when all of a sudden freight units started to be worth only 200 to 210 coins per unit. I was deep into future techs, say 70 or so. I wonder if that has happened to anyone else. In case it matters I have the Macintosh version. |

Sten Sture,If you make those coins 1974-1976 vintage I just might take you up on that deal. I'd want it to be a 15yd truck heaping or a 20yd truck level. I don't normally worry about the point score, but for that incentive I just might consider trying. Let me know when you have the prize assembled. Ken |

jpk: Yes, it happened to me in the last game. About 100 future techs, Windows version 2.42. I noticed it because three freights in a row made exactly the same cash: 209 gold. I canīt say nothing furthe, because the turn it happened was the last turn before AC. I will check if it happens again. |
