Ok, I've played quite a bit of CivII and while I'm more of a SMAC addict now a days, I know from having done a good ammount of playing and reading that the different civilizations react differently, etc. Does anyone have a list (or a link to a list) of what each of the civs do? (I know the babylonians are peaceful, enlightened something like that..).

Thanks everyone...TigToad

Are you referring to the "attack, expand, civilize" paramaters near the end of the rules.txt file?

I have noticed that the zulus always seem hostile and mean.

Yes, in civ tribes are nothing as "specific" like in SMAC. There is a record that shows three characteristics (these I believe): the will of civ to expand, the will of civ to build units or improvements more, and the will of civ to pick war technologies or trade ones.

This only means that if you have 10 cities and Mongols have one they will still sneak attack you, while Babylonians will rarely do so even if the case is opposite.

No bonuses in trade or production like in SMAC. (which is good I think )

The best are the absolute neutrals, like the Sioux. Some games they are peaceful and the next game they put the Mongols to shame.

but most of the civs go aggro anywasy... ifyour leading that is....... best case scenario if you want an easier ai to deal with is to grow as the game goes... avoid supreme until it is too late for them to counter
