Of course when your government type is Democracy you suffer from unhappy people when units are away from home or not in a fort. My question is, how far can that fort be away from one of your cities. I thought it was 2 sqaures (city radius). The CIV book says 3 sqaures. ! did I just not know this (wondering why I get beat so badly so often... ). Is it 2 or 3 sqaures from a city? |

I've placed forts 3 squares away many times without creating discontent. |

Hey, while reading the CIV book (MP gold), it does cover bomber stacking, kinda. So I dont consider this a cheat. |

I didn't realize this, either. Maybe I'll have to rethink my position on forts. |
