I'm trying something that certainly is different, in the ToT fantasy game. I'm playing 7-way hotseat, which means that I am playing all seven of the possible civs myself. The AI will be strictly used for barbarians.

Obviously there is something dumb about playing against yourself, and I do not know how soon I will get real bored with this, but I do expect to learn something about differences in playing the seven fantasy civs. It is evident even in the first turn that they all should do something a little different.

When they run into each other (which will be soon, I'm playing on a small world), I will be trying to act appropriately for each civ, trying to take into account only what that civ should know.

I would rather play real Multi-player of course, but I do not have the sustained blocks of time that would make this possible.

I would appreciate comments; I will report if the experience turns out to be noteworthy in any way...

if you wish a civ to be cooperative set attitude to worshipful. If you wish a civ to be a pain set attitude to enraged. You have to check every turn to see if war has broken out.You don't get the MP alliances since the ai handles diplomatic stuff but by gifting back and forth you can acheive the same effect.

I wonder who will win?

I wonder how fast you could get to AC if you played all 7 civs in a regular Civ2 MP game.
