Spies should be unable to be seen. The Chinese have had spies in us for years without us knowing so it should be the same in Civ3. Of course, spies of and equal or higher moral level should be able to see them.

Also you should not be informed if a spy does something to you. Spies try to get out WITHOUT someone knowing that he was there.

Spy operations should take time. Trying to steal Adv. Spaceflight might take years to acheive. When you tell a spy to do something you should get an estimated amount of turns needed. Also, if successfully completed, a spy should stay in the city to try again at something else.

Infitraiting(??) datalinks NEVER should of been permanent!! Why not only while you have a spy in that city and five years per morale level and in cities in a ten square radius.

May I suggest posting these comments in either Units, or maybe Diplomacy?

A comment in a new thread will not be compiled into the official list, and will likely never find its way to Firaxis's desk.
