There should be an option to create your civilisation without any religion.
And for players having choosen religion, they should become obsolete after the discovery of sexology and anticonceptionnal medicine.
A civilisation can become very succcessfull with good philosophical values instead of god believing...which is as a philosopher said "the peoples opium"...
And there should be a possibility to have a non communist atheist civilisation...Like it's happening to day with churches more and more empty but a capitalistic civilisation...
Science and philosophy have the same goal : liberating mankind...
